Are you a Stephanie Plum fan? These books are lots of fun if you enjoy slapstick humour, Jersey style.
I've read all the Stephanie Plum books and even though some of them are a little disappointing I'll keep reading them because they're perfect when you need a break with something light and funny.
Sometimes I get tired of the back and forth between her love interests, Ranger and Joe Morelli -- I mean, make up your mind, already -- but mostly I love the books because they're such good fun.
In Going Rogue, the story begins when Connie, the office manager at Vinnie's Bail Bonds goes missing. Fun, hilarity and scary moments ensue when Stephanie (a somewhat inept, but getting better, bounty hunter) and her side-kick Lula do their best to rescue Connie.
As per usual, there are kidnappings, bombing, car explosions, sexy times with Ranger and Morelli, and some likeable new characters.
In this book, we actually get to know Bella (Morelli's grandmother) a little better. She's always been cast as the crazy old Italian lady who puts the eye on everyone. She still does that, but we also see her and Stephanie starting to develop a tentative relationship. I'm looking forward to seeing how that further develops in book #30.
Happy Reading!
